Essence served as the Independent Certifier for Brookfield’s Brookfield Place development, a transformative 27-level commercial tower in Sydney’s CBD. The project also included the restoration of Shell House, creating premium office and retail spaces with outstanding sustainability ratings.
The goal was to deliver a world-class urban precinct, including the completion of the commercial tower and the restoration of Shell House. Key objectives included ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations for all stakeholders.
Essence acted as the Independent Certifier, determining critical matters related to time, cost, compliance, and completion. The role also involved resolving disputes between parties, ensuring adherence to project documentation, and facilitating the successful completion of both the tower and the restoration of Shell House.
