The total GFA will be circa 1800m2 comprising 2x levels of a childcare centre and 2x levels of class 5 medical consulting suites.
Essence was appointed as project manager for the development of a new childcare centre in an infill plot within the Deakin hospital campus. Essence undertook the feasibility to develop a childcare centre on the site. Essence prepared a feasibility report and has received approval to develop the design and procure a price for the works.
Our role
The project management role entails managing the full life cycle of the project from feasibility, design management, DA, procurement of consultants and head contractor, and management of multiple stakeholders across a hospital campus site in a live environment. Stakeholders include childcare licensing authorities, ACT Health, the childcare operator, and multiple tenants across the campus.
