The project involved reviewing and progressing the Strategic Business Case (SBC) and Final Business Case (FBC) for a new high school at Edmondson Park. This Tier 2 project went through SINSW ARP1 and INSW Gate 1, before moving to ARP2 and Gate 2 for approval. The process included engaging the private sector and updating the masterplan.
The goal was to successfully progress the SBC and FBC through the necessary approval gates to meet the June 2021 deadline. Key objectives included updating the SBC to reflect new opportunities, engaging with the private sector, and ensuring the FBC met all requirements for submission to NSW Treasury.
Essence was engaged to oversee the strategic direction of the SBC and FBC, appointing the architect and cost planner, managing the preparation of updated masterplans, cost plans, and value management processes. The team ensured all project documentation was aligned with SINSW and NSW Treasury requirements for approval.
