Harbourside Redevelopment

The redevelopment of Harbourside will reimagine the Darling Harbour waterfront for the 21st century.

The 87,000 sqm mixed-use development comprises 45,000m2 of commercial space and a 43-storey residential tower that sits above the podium.

The site has 10,000m2 of public domain, a proposed 3,500 sqm waterfront garden, and a widened promenade.

Essence’s role as Independent Certifier is to provide a professional and independent approach to the assessment and certification of various obligations, including:

• Progress inspections.
• Confirming achievement of practical completion.
• Confirming the developer has satisfied its obligations.
• Confirming works have been completed satisfactorily and defect-free.
• Extensions of time.
