The development represents stage one of a new private hospital adjacent to the Nepean Hospital.
The private hospital specialises in the treatment of cancer with GenesisCare the anchor tenant and provides additional radiology services and doctors’ accommodation. Hospital specialties included Plastics & Reconstructive surgery, Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, ENT and Oral & Maxillofacial.
Our role
Essence was appointed as project manager and superintendent for both the base build and fit-out. We provided all stakeholder groups with strategic direction to navigate the complex construction process, as well as the necessary approvals mandatory for the project completion and project and managed the build and complex fitout which was furnished with the latest technology and equipment to provide specialty services to both adult and paediatric patients, including specialised suspended bunkers for the delivery of radiation therapy treatment to cancer patients.
