Essence acted as project manager for the landlord, Credit Suisse, overseeing the extensive de-fit and amalgamation of previous tenancies at St Collins Lane to create the cold shell for Swatch’s premier store in Australia. The project required complex base building works and careful load assessments for unique design elements.

The primary goal was to deliver a high-profile, custom retail space for Swatch while maintaining minimal disruption to the live retail environment. Key objectives included ensuring the structural integrity of the building to support complex design features, completing the project on time, and meeting Swatch’s specifications for a premier store experience.

Essence provided full project management services, including de-fit and base building works, contractor engagement, coordination of design and construction teams, and managing site access within a live retail environment.
