Essence, in collaboration with ADCO Constructions, PIF, and Stepping Stone House, renovated a five-bedroom home in Dulwich Hill to provide a safe, secure home for five young Aboriginal youths experiencing homelessness. The project was funded through cash donations and pro bono trade contributions.

The main objective was to renovate the home into a ‘group home’ for young Aboriginal youths. Essence aimed to deliver the project on time and within budget, ensuring the facility met the required standards for safety, accessibility, and functionality.

Essence provided full project management services, overseeing renovations including alterations and additions to the existing dwelling, upgrades to bathrooms and kitchen/dining areas, and an extension to create a new lounge and accessible toilet/laundry. Essence also acted as the client representative throughout the process.
