The Essence Board recently unanimously endorsed a plan to evolve the composition of our Board.

Our current Board comprising 3 executives and 3 non-executives has served the business well taking us through the inception phase, successfully navigating through the pandemic, stepping through the market challenges of the past 18 months whilst always growing and diversifying our business and increasing stakeholder value.

Greg Incoll has Chaired our Board since our inception in 2016. Greg will be stepping down from the Chair role and shifting to a non-Executive Director role with us effective 1 July 2024.

David Riches will be taking the Board Chair role effective 1 July 2024 to support and guide Essence through the next stage of our business growth and evolution.

Julie Bindon will be continuing as a non-Executive Director and Chair of our Risk sub-committee.

Caitriona Circosta, our CFO, has also been re-elected to the position of Company Secretary.

“On behalf of the entire team at Essence I thank Greg for his long-standing service in this key role for the business, and welcome David into this position. Greg remains a valued advisor to our Board, myself and senior executive management. We will be evolving our Board composition over coming years to bring on board the diverse skills and expertise required to take us through our next growth phase and capitalise on the market opportunities that we have identified in our strategic plan” said David Nicholas, Managing Director.
