Located adjacent to the new Victoria Cross Station, 65 Berry Street is a prominent A-grade tower with 14,500 square meters of office space across 18 levels and six basement parking levels. Originally built in 1986 and refurbished in 2017, the building is integral to the precinct’s transformation, completed in 2023.
The project aimed to represent the owners of 65 Berry Street in managing impacts from Sydney Metro’s construction of the Victoria Cross Station and Over Station Development. Objectives included negotiating Adjoining Owner Deeds, managing alterations, and ensuring seamless coordination with Sydney Metro.
Essence provided owners’ representation services, assisting with Adjoining Owner Deeds negotiations and managing temporary and permanent building alterations. Our role included ongoing collaboration with Sydney Metro and ensuring project alignment with the new station and OSD development.
