Milperra Industrial Estate

A new warehouse and distribution centre with a focus on providing logistics, storage and distribution of goods and services in a strategic location.

Essence has been engaged to act as project manager and superintendent for the construction of a new industrial estate in Milperra on behalf of Pittwater Industrial.

The redevelopment of the site will deliver a contemporary warehouse and logistics estate to a currently underutilised site, resulting in a substantial improvement in the visual appearance of the site when viewed from the public domain.

The project involves demolishing existing structures and remediation, including removing underground storage tanks and constructing a high-quality industrial facility incorporating car parking, landscaping and communal open spaces.

The facility will include constructing an elevated reinforced concrete structure to overcome flooding impacts on the site and the construction of two warehouse buildings containing four individually tenanted industrial units to be used for the storage, handling and distribution of items.

Each unit will consist of primary warehouse floor areas, ancillary office areas, an on-grade loading dock and recessed loading docks.

Overall, the proposed development will deliver a total gross floor area (GFA) of 18,350sqm, comprising 16,950sqm of warehouse floor space and 1,400sqm of ancillary office space.
