VBSA Bastow Academy

The Academy provides high-performing teachers and principals with the tools to advance their skills through the Teaching Excellence Program.

Essence supported the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) in delivering the Bastow Institute’s Academy of Teaching and Leadership. The project created a central training hub in the Treasury Precinct, followed by seven regional centres, aiming to elevate the quality of education for Victorian teachers and principals.

The Academy provides high-performing teachers and principals with the tools to advance their skills through the Teaching Excellence Program. The program focuses on evidence-based learning, enabling educators to improve their professional practice, collaborate, and share best practices, enhancing teaching effectiveness and raising the standard across the state.

Essence delivered full project management and superintendency services for the central Academy and regional centres. The program required coordination across multiple sites, managing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring the Academy’s goals were met. Our services ensured that the facilities supported both educational and operational requirements for a thriving learning environment.
