Essence is supporting Virtus Health in developing a business case and overseeing the construction of a new IVF laboratory within an existing building in Melbourne. The project involves building an 800m² lab while maintaining operations in the adjacent existing lab, followed by an intricate decanting and re-fitting process.
The goal is to deliver a state-of-the-art IVF lab that supports Virtus Health’s growing presence and market leadership. The project aims to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations while meeting the specific functional and technical requirements for both the laboratory and clinical spaces, delivering a high-quality, operational outcome.
Essence is providing full project management services, including scope and design management, cost and contract management, contractor engagement, and construction delivery. We are working closely with stakeholders to align operational needs with the project’s feasibility and execution, ensuring the successful development and transition to the new lab and clinical spaces.
