Essence was engaged as the superintendent to oversee the contract and building supervision for two packages of social dwellings at Airds, comprising three properties at lots 3015 and 3016. Completed in 2022, the project involved managing quality, design, and unforeseen changes to meet the expectations of Landcom and LAHC.
The project aimed to deliver social dwellings that met Landcom and LAHC’s specifications while ensuring quality finishes, fixtures, and fittings. Key objectives included resolving design changes, addressing contractor discrepancies, and ensuring the project was completed on time and within budget.
Essence provided superintendent services, managing contract administration, building supervision, and resolving design and specification issues. We coordinated changes to the project scope, including the conversion of one dwelling from three to six bedrooms, ensuring all changes were certified and properly valued.
